Blue Hills Trail update -- one more time...
Fresh snowfall today, come and get it! The EastSide & WestSide trails
were groomed today (Tuesday, April 2) by rolling today's snowfall.
This provided very good to excellent sunset skiing (Tuesday, April 2)
-- with temperatures near 30 degrees F skating a freshly groomed two-inch
snowfall. The underlying base was solid, pole plants were firm, edge
control was great, and the snow was relatively fast. Most areas still
have adequate base (6 to 8 inches) with exception of bare spots on steeper,
south facing hills. With rising temperatures predicted for this weekend,
this won't last long.
