Blue Hills Trail update...

Sunshine and temperatures in the mid forties Thursday afternoon produced soft conditions and slow skiing -- leaving one-inch chevrons.  Anticipate the best skiing early to mid morning as the overnight crust softens as the sun hits the trail.  The base is adequate all but on steeper south facing hills where the earliest bare spots have developed.  Sheltered areas still have 12 or more inches of base.
