For some flights south, I will need to change maps in mid air and I don't think that's possible Also, there are areas that are not covered at all - for example around Alice Springs in central Australia and in central & northern Australia (Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Townsville and the Gulf of Carpentaria - Morning Glory country). The NSW/Vic map also doesn't seem to cover Byron Bay Flying in South Australia, flights frequently go east some way into Vic - and again a map change is needed. Also, there are frequent excursions up into the Flinders range, outside map coverage. There is no map coverage for Tasmania. Whilst the old terrain generator may have been buggy, it had the great advantage of creating maps based on user need. Is there any intention to upgrade the terrain generator to the new system?
