Hi Michael, as I said, I understand why there is a price on the data and I would be willing to pay it. Distributing it free of charge is obviously illegal and not something that we would like to support. What I was hoping for is the scenario where XCSoar provides the technology to load and display the SIP data and streckenflug.at is selling the data that can be used with the application. Exactly the same like now with LX but more open minded and not limited to that one supplier...
I was not aware that the SIP also supplies its members with html files and digital images. That could indeed be used to display the information in XCSoar in some way. Turbo Am 13.
