Well you can become a member of the association/Verein streckenflug.at, purchase a Landewiesen-subscription, download all the pdf pages and embed them into xcsoar (>=6.3). Thats what i did a few months ago. But it's quite some work, and once it's done its trivial to copy all of it without paying. So i don't think they will be happy, when i publish scripts to do this automatically, so i wont. We can also embed sattelite images for each waypoint, but this is totally illegal with google or bing images. You are not allowed to download and store them. Recently i found a source for non-commercial free to use sattelite images in austria: geoimage.at The license looks promising, so we should ask them if they let us embed their images into our map generator in a ways thats not creating too much server stress. The easiest way to try their images is to use the edit-mode of openstreetmap.org somewhere in austria and choose geoimage.at as background.
