Moin, 

well, it's not only hosting an image collection that makes a good landing site 
database. The most important part is to keep it up to date, to connect it to a 
landing field catalogue, add comments and verify proposed procedures that are 
rooted in real life experience. 
I know a lot of work has been put into this by various entities, especially in 
the alps, and is continuously put into ongoing maintenance.
