My answer is I want to be able to tell others where I am. Telling them I am
500ft below glide to Podunk airport, doesn't really tell them anything, telling
them I 10.5 miles from Podunk is much more useful, especially if they are also
10.5 miles from Podunk. Also while airspace is displayed on the map, it is
nice to back it up with a distance. So I can tell I am actually 4.5 miles
LittleTower Class D airport as opposed to I am getting close to the line.
As you point out the can I make it information is already displayed on the map.
I would like to have this information displayed without having to push buttons
or change screens, than means a configurable infobox. Sure there or other
methods that are acceptable and will work with only one or two clicks to get
this information.
Looking forward to seeing how this feature evolves.
Thank You
Brian
