Hey Andy,

your solution would work for me too. It is close to the quick fix we
discussed earlier. (Just make ALT1+ALT2 selectable)
However there are two points which in my opinion are drawbacks from the
solution I suggested.

Henrik,

I agree there is an extra tap using my proposals to select a waypoint to an
ALT info box and an extra tap to change NAV mode except when changing more
than one mode, number of taps is the same, e.g. TASK to NAV2. I also have
realized with my proposal one would need a RESUME TASK button in addition to
the GOTO button on the setup window that opens on a long tap. I can live
with the T,1,2 NAV selection buttons. You mentioned the change mode function
button could be assigned to an info box which would work very well if one
chose to run the function on a seperate screen and would satisfy us "less
clutter" freaks. BTW the top right position of your T,1,2 Nav mode marks
conflicts with the North Arrow position, for all we know this might be
hallowed ground, so you may have to settle on another position.

I support any or all of the options, let's hope one of our developers thinks
this is a worthy project.
