I had worn myself being the Energizer Bunny for so long that I needed some
time off and time out. While walking through Michael's one day, I saw a
counted cross -stitch on a beautiful desert scene..and since my mother had
recently left Arizona to move back east, I made it for her 75th birthday to
remind her of her home. After I left the piece to be framed, I grabbed
another kit on the way out for myself...and I haven't stopped since.... am
now working on the second of twelve angel ornaments... it's never to soon to
start on gift-making , is it?
