Well, I guess I'm a strange one here, while I have someone to blame, I
haven't seen anyone blaming a relative. ;-)
When I was very young, probably about 3-4 or so, I would be visiting my
grandparents (mother's side), and Gomma had the COOLEST stuff, it was
these little skeins of floss. And so, I would very carefully unwind all
of them for her! LOL!
Well, Gomma got the clue eventually that I was interested in the
materials she was using for this project, so she started teaching me how
to cross stitch (and later on, embroider). I started out on bleached
flour sacks, and other evenweave type materials. (so I started out
early in life with a disdain for stitching on anything heavy like Aida)
She had some really cute patterns too, little ducks, teddy bears, and
things like that she had me do.
Anyway, time marched on, and I've been stitching ever since. :-) Like
I tell my hubby, xstitch can cover all the walls in the house, and then
we won't have to paint as often. ;-)
Hugs,
Ruth Anne

Subject: XS: What Turned You on to XStitch
Too quiet in here. I need more XStitch chat to get my daily fix. I
print off the digest and read it at night after stitching time and just
before lights out. Got to get you guys chatting again.
Today's question - What Turned You on to XStitch?
Tina
