The Minister's Statement
Thanks Comrades for venting some of the anger or voicing further opinions on
the matter.
May I indicate that I am not the Spokesperson of the Movement, but as a Cadre
we should be interested in national Issues.
ANC is a political party that has policies to be implemented by the Governemnt.
Youth League is the platform for our youth to engage in polical life of any
structure of the movement, Government, International forums of their issues,
matters, agendas, policy proposals etc.
The end result is that the Mother Body may take action, engage in debate,
propose a policy, Engage Government to make a law etc.
The said Minister might have erred in answering:- but the fact of the matter is
that the ANC, COSATU & SACP has the oppotunity to engage and make a proposal to
the conference for the final say: "Conference."
Policies are not driven as an event but a programme that will end as a National
Law enacted by Parliament, aproved and signed by The President.
May Comrades who are engaging themselves in this debate please help us to
debate issues and not attacking individuals or institutions for the betterment
of sound Political Debates.
