Cde Tshepo as with other Comrades who have responded to your piece,
saying it raises critical and elementary questions on the Youth Congress
Movement and the pattern of doing things in the ANCYL, I fully agree it
needs an overhaul. Through your observations as reflected in your
document one might be convinced that you are from the Greater Joburg
Region of Gauteng, on the basis that you accurately speak about
developments which are happening here @ home. Things like mushrooming of
Branches, meetings of "Cores", interference by the some elements within
the mother-body, independence of comrades, handlers of other people and
so on.
All ANCYL Regions within the Province of Gauteng are preparing to
convene their Congresses with 4 convening in the next two weeks,
therefore you can imagine what is happening. But I also know that your
submissions are representing feelings of many comrades who are not
taking responsibility to assist the organization, by merely staying far
from these processes...
