Gentlemen,
Is anyone here using a 'sparse bundle' to store their Entourage database file?
After wondering why each hour my Time Machine backup was several gigs, I
tracked the problem down to the Entourage database.
A quick search turned up two possible solutions:
1. Exclude the database from the Time Machine backup and use a block level
backup mechanism like rsync or JungleDisk to backup that file.
2. Create a 'sparse bundle' and put all of the MS Identity files on it.
Apparently this allows a form of incremental backup.
Is anyone aware of any other solutions to this problem? Any other clever ways
of backing up the Entourage DB in a space effective manner?
