Rich, How does turning off the airport, or unplugging a hard-wired disk suspend Entourage?
What I'm getting at is a behaviour like this, all automatic: 1. Shutdown Entourage & Daemon 2. Make backup 3. Restart Entourage & Daemon Obviously you wouldn't want to do this every hour, but once per evening would be about right. - SteveN ----- Original Message ---- From: Richard Kriss <[email protected]> To: YouTalk <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 12, 2009 9:56:46 AM Subject: Re: Time Capsule On Sunday1/11/09 4:11 PM, "Nunez Steve" <[email protected]> wrote: > Good point about the restart. It you want to suspend but not quit Entourage while the TM does its thing....just go to the AirPort menu and click on Turn AirPort Off. If you are hard wired, just pull the connector. I usually just close Entourage while doing backups. I may run Safari, MT-NewsWatcher or something else to pass the time.
