Dogs are great characters, though to some degree they are influenced
by their owners and their treatment or mistreatment.
A dog's ability to give unconditional affection, loyalty, attention,
etc., can be a great boost to anyone. Too bad that many apartments and
condominium associations ban dogs and other pets.
