Anthony, talk to in everyday terms instead of such things as...
 
..'The buddha is on the road, let's kill him'....
 
...and similar, and I might understand you better. Zen and daily life are so 
mixed together that one cannot find the borders anymore. I find that it's a 
fine thing to go all mystical and so exotic to mention such things as 'the 
sound of one hand' and other antiquated babble including references, or use of 
old sanskrit terms...but they have zero value for coping with daily life. 
However, that's just me
