Not that I would not prefer CASH. ;-)
I mentioned that translations of Haiku poems to English are most often not be
helped by adhering to the syllabic count of the form of the original(s).
And I also mentioned that I thought/felt that Haiku written originally in
English ought to conform to the form (in order to be considered Haiku, and to
be respectful of the tradition, with its limits and constraints for the
artist).
It's an artful form, and form-ful art, so why not toe the line when doing your
own work?
Now... about that CASH... .
