joe for the hundredth time..
i say it loud and clear i am the teacher...jesus..even jesus would understand that.. how come it doesn't get into your psyche?... let us leave it now.. i am the teacher..i am the student.. one and the same. .whether you think i am not zen that's your problem...it's not mine... mine is clear cut zen through and through.. you go and kiss the feet of your teacher and swoon and sway.. i stand alone steady as a the rock of Gibraltar ... and do my own pointing!!!!!!!!!! merle Merle, What else can I tell you. If your cup is full already, no more can go in. You've asked your question 27 times: I've answered it 27 times. The Zen school teaches methods for awakening and for keeping awake. It's done in order that wisdom and compassion can arise freely. That is all. The Zen school is the "Sudden School". It will not teach you theory or background material. It is a school of practice, about practice. Key in that practice is a relationship with a human teacher. One must look within, yes, and one must have someone there with you, at least from time to time, while you learn how to do so. That is all! There are other schools of practice. They are not Zen. A teacher POINTS. Especially at the most crucial point, when you CANNOT do it yourself. --Joe > Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > so your theory about finding a teacher jow...as any great teacher would > say...look within yourself... and seek and yea shall find..no one..and i > repeat no one can teach you to realise..you have to climb the mountain > yourself..if i choose to be my own teacher why are you forever bagging me > about this... have i seen the golden light?...too right..have you?..merle > > Merle, > > Why such a "broken record" in the age of the CD-ROM?
