Did you ever find a resolution to this? It's a really weird state to be in--performance graphs work just fine, wmi testing works fine, and I can even see the windows services from the OS tab from the device screen in zenoss. Three things are happening for me at this point:
1--From the zenwinmodeler log 2007-08-02 09:17:58 WARNING zen.zenwinmodeler: skipping DISTRIB has bad wmi state 2--From the events tab on the device ERROR_SEM_TIMEOUT: The semaphore timeout period has expired. (121) 3--The windows services that i'm supposed to be monitoring are not telling me when they are down. The little green dot always stays green, and even when the service is down, it always tells me that it's running properly. The rest of the product works great. I'm monitoring about 300 devices, and everything seems lovely other than this last part. Anyone out there in Zenossland have any tricks up your collective sleeves? I'm running Ubuntu Feisty, and: Zenoss Zenoss 2.0.2 OS Linux (i686) 2.6.20 (Linux collaborate 2.6.20-15-server #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:41:34 UTC 2007 i686) Zope Zope 2.8.8 Python Python 2.4.4 Database MySQL 5.0.38 (Ver 5.0.38) RRD RRDtool 1.2.19 Twisted Twisted 2.5.0 SNMP PySNMP 3.4.3 Twisted SNMP TwistedSNMP 0.3.13 NetSnmp NetSnmp 5.2.3 any help would be greatly appriciated.
