Never did get a resolution. I recently upgraded to 2.0.6, and I'm still seeing WMI issues. What's odd is that I'm monitoring two separate Windows Server 2003 64-bit servers at my hosting provider. One is working fine, the other is exhibiting the "has bad wmi state" problem.
I did a complete reinstall and remodeling with 2.0.6 (mostly because I screwed up my existing setup from 2.0.4, whoops). For a few days, both servers were being monitored properly. Then I did a remodel at some point, and zenoss started reporting this "bad wmi state" issue on the second server. It's been 24 hours and the situation hasn't settled on its own. I've tried restarting all the processes.
