I attempted to set the conf with those settings. The situation remains the same; no ability to snmpwalk outside the device, Zenoss does not detect snmp on the target devices. At this point I believe there has to be some error in how I've set these snmpd devices up, but replicating the setup process produces no different result. If it illuminates the process, on the Mac Box i've built the netsnmp package from source. On the debian box i've used the snmpd package. I've scoured high and low for good setup tips but my implementation of them produce no noticeable results.
