I think I understand, you're not in IT nor did you come from an IT
background. That explains a little - no system is going to out of the
box support every possible combination of hardware and software
monitoring interface as well as the endless graphs that might be wanted
across all users.
It was rather obvious to me from an IT background that Zenoss would
require both Linux knowledge (as it's not an appliance, it's a software
install - and you have to know something of the OS to get stuff
installed and working) as well as configuration and plugins for our systems.
I also figured that if there's a paid version - the free one won't be as
easy as the paid version, else no one pays for it. So if you can afford
support, it's probably worth it to have the experts set it up for you
and support it when it breaks.
