Our branch had a food storage party at the Medford cannery last month. For $27.22 (that's US dollars, Marc) we could package two cases of foodstuffs, which is estimated to be one month's food supply for one adult. The cases contain three #10 cans of wheat, two of rice, and one each of flour, quick oats, macaroni, powdered milk, pinto beans, and sugar. Also contained in the cases is one plastic bottle of cooking oil, one canister of salt, and 8 lids for the #10 cans. The One Month Food Storage Kit is available in pouches instead of cans for $26.25. Several of the retired members of our branch were buying the kits as gifts for their grandchildren. It was a lot of fun putting it all together.
