I can't guarantee that this is the only thing that will break, as we
may end up adding other things later that are dependent on UUID, but
it's the first one.

Does this in any way suggest that it is bad to:

scp otherhost:/etc/zones/somezone.xml /etc/zones/template-somezone.xml
zonecfg -z newzone
create -t template-somezone

The source and destination servers may be at different patch levels,
and eventually different OS releases.  Is a safer mechanism to zonecfg
-z export?
