This has been an interesting thread. My feeling is that the Ubuntu style code names are a very good idea. I know the fixed-length release cycles are still fairly new, but making them a bit sexier seems like a good idea in this case. Ideally, it would go along with a new website, or perhaps some wiki pages, with a roadmap. Among geeks, new releases are exciting business. Of course, the people actually making the releases are already so busy, I have no idea who would maintain and update such a roadmap. But, on the other hand, I'm just fine with Zope's current level of advocacy.
