Eduardo, some ideas.
IEB> What about, if we would need to have patient data on a same place, for IEB> customer service if the patient goes to facility 1 or to facility 2 on same IEB> Places would be able to get patients data. Thats one way. Make shure about a good conection. The Call Center have nothing to do with patient data. They are allowed to see appointments. Set up a Server, with a cron job on regular base this server got the appointments from the central server. So the risk to get personal data of the patient is not so high... Make a concept how to share data. See we are again in the PID discussion. The call center is allowed to check a PID and gets only data what they are allowed. There needs a group concept group Call Center. IEB> When I setup and appointment, I IEB> just create a new appointment, does care verifies that on that hour on that IEB> department with that doctor there's not appointment already given? Yes in the database. Extract it from there. IEB> The IEB> objective is to know if the call center could give an appointment that won't IEB> get on top of another one already done. The point is that the call center needs to request if that given appointment is at a first level or not. See there are special apointments possible and maybe for a technical solution the patient have to wait for month. Than there is a date free. What happened the call center say no, because there is an another appointment eg. check a labtest that can take 2 hours later. Thats why i like to use jabber or somthing other for it. Include it. Elpidio did something similar with the tech departement. Let a popup window appear for special requests. Or a sound for notice. One step is that the callcenter sees there is an appointment or not. If there is an appointment than it needs a request system for urgency or not. Did you looked into the workflow and ER diagrams. Or did the programmer that you realy need for an implementation did looked in? In every case, if Version 4.0 or 5.9 of care2x you need a programmer for implementation to get the special needs of the hospital.
