What the hell's a 'Shropshire'? Whatever it is, it is NOT the proper name
for the breed colloquially known as 'pit bull'...
And YOU are the one who's been telling people to 'be nice' to you, because
you own a pit bull...so you yourself have been perpetuating the image of
the breed as vicious and mean...

Actually, last time I checked, the Bulldog (which used to be known as
'English Bulldog' before the AKC decided a few years ago to drop the
'English' in its name) is the mascot of the U.S. Marines...
The bulldog is NOT the same breed as a pit bull. But you've already
displayed your ample ignorance of reputable canine breeding...
