I just bought an additional Hummingbird recently, the cost for a single
seat is $550.00
There are discounts for multiple seats, site licenses etc...
The latest version, works on Windows2000.

Hi Bruce,

Hummingbird eXceed is but one of the possible solutions. We (internal to
Dow
Corning) are required to use SCO XVision, and we get pretty good at making
it work also, without the handholding that Foxboro provides with eXceed.
There are other commercial products for remotely displaying X windows.

VNC (http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/) is a freeware solution. Although
I
haven't run it on a Solaris box, on my Linux boxes at home, it's pretty
doggy slow. (Perhaps I didn't get it tuned properly.)

Subject: Remote Displays

     Hi List,
     I have a I/A system consisting of Micro I/A's, AW70's and WP70's.
How can I get process displays (for read only purpose)to desktop PC's? I
see
hummingbird exceed mentioned in some notes. Is that the only option? How
much should I expect to spend for the necessary software?
Thanks.
