Is anyone still processing the bug reports in the tracker? I've submitted
a few patches there without getting any response. And while a few other
issues have been discussed on this list, I wouldn't know what to expect
from 1.1 compared with 1.0.

Would 1.1 fix the major crasher reasons, such as "modifying the current
working directory with an external tool can cause Geeqie to crash while
refreshing its list of files"?

It's been a long time since I've received a bug report about the Fedora
package of Geeqie, but it's likely that this is due to the patches
include in the package:
