Hi Hans,

I tested yesterday with version 2693, then 2691, then 2687 has you were supposing. Any of them works for me, didn't have any sound (but video seems to be faster with 2693. Maybe it's just an impress.)

I'm sending you the dmesg log. Tell me if you need me to test anything else for you.

PS : I just bought my pvr150, and I tested only 0.3.7h, 0.3.8, and these versions. But a friend of me said that sound works only with 0.3.7a. I'll verify that later.

Scott,

Can you also test the released 0.3.8 driver? This is interesting information.

Scott,

Can you go back one revision to rev 2691 and try again? If
that fails, go back to 2687 and try that.

That gives me the info I need to figure out what is going on.
I'll also mail you my audio firmware (I'm using an older
version, haven't tested yet with the new one). You can test
that too to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks,
Testing:

Checked out revision 2691
make ; make install ; depmod -a; shutdown
pull power plug, hit power button a few times, wait a few minutes
plug back in, boot up
no sound
cycled through all the -q 0-5 to see if any other had sound, none did

Next test, ROM file you sent me
I tried this with svn V 2693, 2691 and 2687
Same motions, no sound.

So then I got really desperate and found I had an old tar'ed version on my
system,
0.3.7k. Installed it, and put my old ROM back into place and all works
fine.
Very strange. Volume is low (of course)

I hope this helps.

Scott
