Well, first fix what's obviously wrong. Again, which tveeprom are you using?
v4l2 or ivtv? To see if this has anything to do with your audio problems try
to add 'tuner=' as module parameter to ivtv to force the tuners to the
correct values.
Lots of people seem to have problems with tveeprom lately and I don't
understand what the problem is. To the best of my knowledge the tveeprom of
the kernel 2.6.9 and up should work fine with ivtv, unless you have a tuner
that is not yet in the kernel tveeprom. Tveeprom will still work but your
tuner is not detected in that case.
