libraries programmed to a specific API. No transmogrification necessary

To *AN* API. WINE implements parts of the Win32 API, which means that
programs written for Win32 are also written to work with WINE -- at

Writes to an API. This program is 100% portable to any ANSI C
implementation with a standard C library. The library is different for
different machine implementations, and is not a derivative of any
particular implementation of the standard C library.
