Hello Peter :-) Your arguments are convincing, thanks :-) I was sitting in the code for so long it can be C for me, the most important thing is a cleanup and reorganization right now, rewrite would take a lot more time and this is not a work for one person because I also have other projects to be done... :-)
C++ would be a better candidate for good internals organization and representation but I dont want it to be a separate project... I guess I will stick to the C :-) We need to select good organization for that rework, what I am afraid that I will wait in Gerrit with my patches and things will last forever, this is why I prefer to start separate branch and work on my ow for now, just as it was with SWD... If there is no need to have git access to the repository I can make a fork on repo.or.cz and start branch 1.0.0. What do you think? Still I would like my swd patches to be reviewed in the Gerrit because they somehow already represent the direction of the changes and without accepting them I cannot proceed, please take a look at them and comment in a free moment :-) Best regards :-) Tomek -- CeDeROM, SQ7MHZ, http://www.tomek.cedro.info ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master SQL Server Development, Administration, T-SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS and more.
