Actually, I think it's a lot more likely users will run into problems with old stuff where they had conflicting controllers on the same track or playing through the same instrument, and they worked around this to their satisfaction without ever quite realizing what was going on in the first place. We straighten it out, and now Rosegarden is magically doing what they told it to do all along, but the results are unexpected. I think that's more likely, because I've already run into that twice playing around with old stuff with his branch.
