It sounds like one of those interactive movies where your decisions effect the game play. You decide something in the flow of dialogue every 15-30 secs. How in heck do I configure gmud? I got it 'cause I thought it'd be easier than a prog like monkey term. I can't figure out how to connect to a mud. I don't know what a trigger is, a macro, or an alias. It's all weird. Was using telenet and liked it but I had to use jaws with pc curser and jaws cursor. Was a drag and you had to read EVERYTHING and it was hard to keep up with live battles. Can someone help me on or offlist? Hi all!!! I rescued the munk and closed the shadow gate then trained with him no problem. How do I go about finding, gralack? (is that his name?) with the granite key? Where do I go for this? OK this is going to sound retarded, but I had this toy called a hippity-hop or something. It was like a big rubber ball with a handle. You sat on it, grabbing onto the handle and hop. It has several questions spanning different genres of sports from basketball to golf and everything in the middle. If you like trivia and sports games it rocks. Hi there. Hope you all are doing well. I have a talking Star Tek 25 anaversery game. I thought it'd be blind friendly because it says things like Engage and shields up! or this is highly illogical. Got it off ebay. I think it was like a 92 or something but it's hard to play and even sighted people have trouble with it. Find it amazing thathand held games that old could've talked that much. It's ok but too hard to work for me. Another game though that does work is a vibrating pinball game. You use the right bumper to also press in and hold to shoot then use the sounds and bibrations to keep it from going down the shoot. Love the game. It's one of the more expensive ones 'cause the super cheap ones break easily and don't have much audio output. Probalby cost $10 or $20 don't rmember. Think you can get it at the Discovery Store. Hi there. My problem with the walmart reel game is that I can't chose which lake and the menu system has no audio clues and I get confused. Wanted the bibration of the fish and the demo made it sound so cool but can't even figure out the menu system. In California I was hanging with some kids and they had a plug and play fishing system for their tv that ruled!!! I had so much fun. Have only fished twice in reality and loved it too. It's so exciting and when nothing is biting relaxing. Was the bike accessabe as well? I always kinda was fascinated by the pads and stuff made for Nintendo where you'd jump when it told you to or run etc. and get your exercise while playing games. I find the dance ones crazy and would never step foot on one but having say a side scrolling game you have to jumpon cue or something would be neat or anexercise machine that interacts. I have little motivation to exercise but this sounds amazing. *smiles* Are there any audio games for any game platform that are blind friendly but involve exercise? Also, for some reason I remembered Parrappa and Parrappa 2...I guess it was the audio cues. Anyone played them? What'd you think? I hav and find it entertaining and cute. Hi gamers! What's up this Sunday? Hope your doing great! About Judgement Day ominous title, gives me the shivers. Seriously, sounds cool. Some suggestions: 1. Do we get to hear the mighty Athier speak? I mean if he's the supreme evil wouldn't he taunt us a little? Or say he'll vanquish the Allies or something? Or is he so evil his power and corruptedness speaks for itself? 2. The base when it makes repairs, gives you nukes etc., I can't hear it well enough to distinguish what it's saying. Can you make it louder, clearer, something? 3. Along those same lines, can you have a louder sound for the airplanes? Couldn't pick them up on my speakers + subwolfer. Maybe a wwII airplane? Always loved those motor sounds. 4. if you die how is judgement done to you. Are thereenslaved nations under the thumb of tyrony? Does the world blow up? What happens? I mean, this is Judgement Day so something spectacular should happen if: a. you lose or b: you win in which case I was expecting more for an ending than game over. *grins* Maybe too high of expectations, if in which case I apologize. This game's great. It's browser based, as mentioned previously. It's wacky and is meant to offend, and that's where the humor lies. You get to accomplish quests, fight, use things to help you such as a mosquito (that's the first helper you get) and it gains weight as it kills enemies with you. Each character gets to chose his affiliation, such as accordion bandit,pasta mancer, seal clubber etc. Meat is currency in the game. You can join a guild which offers you sundry benifitial services. Meet friends, battle your pet in arenas, use strange items, drink weird concoctions etc. It's definately a game to check out. Players call it KOL for short. I remember this old dos game that my cousin and I played once. It was called Jill in the Jungle orsome such name. It was the first computer game featuring a female charecter I ever played. I was like, WOW! Someone actually had a female out there! But she was kinda lame. She could crouch and look up etc. I think keeping a female in the game is a valuable thing because if you're a guy you can be like, wow she sounds sexy and if you're a girl you have someone to imagine it's you in there and be like, yeah I got 20,000,000 in gold! I'm rich! LOL. The guy sounds cool but if you think the sound is crap then maybe have a guy volunteer to do some sound files? Do them yourself? 'Cause if the game sounds as good as you say, don't diminish it by having inferior sound quality. Secondly, I'm not a diamond girl...they're too normal and kinda boring. I'm a hempie fan all the way! Give me some lovin' and that's all I need..that and a little R E S P E C T. LOL But I'll take them coupling...cool! They save eachothers lives and are so grateful that they make beautiful love. Actually, I totally love that idea. I hav efound in role playing games, and in dungeon games even like reading the manual of nethack, they talk about games teaching you stuff. There's a lot of video games out there with lessons of one kind or another from simplistic junk to in depth stuff. So that would be a good lesson on greed and how wealth sorta drives ya mad. Man they sound cool. I like how geting through them was a bit diffficult so it was more of a challenge. And the waya person could trick a rankorsweet I have always ramsackecked corspes in gmaes but never once thought of putting something back in one. LOLOLOL Great idea!! YeahWin '95 did have some cool games. Too bad they don't work on modern machines..they're too fast and besides you had to have multiple cd-roms to play the game. Reviving these old games sounds awesome I never had the chance to play them myself. Ya could change a few things to make them difffernet so it isn't an exact copy but follow the spirit of the older games and some of the storyline. Couldn't you have a sound clip? Some wav files of snowballs hitting people, their responses, something like that? Or you could participate in a snowball fight adding to the game an extra dimention. It'd be a shooter bonus or special random event that'd definately add some flair. How many race games take time out for a snowball fight? LOL. Could be popular non-the-less. Yeahplaying as a wookie would be action packed. You woulnd't need much armor and could kick some serious booty. This reminds me of those rpg's with allt he different classes of people. You have like the seal clubbers in the kindom of loathing, or barbarians...this could be wookies. You could have your standard gedi warriors, your masters with more zen like approaches, dark storm troopers for your evil side. Something like this. At any rate, I know that goes against the formatting of your arcade shoot 'em up game style, which I also am definately inteerested in. But an audio game like this I would be absolutely positive to buy. And I am not usually this interested in Star Wars being a dyed in the wool trekkie. But hey, I'm open to new universes and experiences. Never thought I'd play racing games or tank games (being a pacifist in real life) but it's a blast so to speak. Being on the Dark Side..it's got that morbid allureit has power...fame...and mysique. I want to court the hate..no not really but it might get out my anger. *laughs* That is why I sometimes pick a dark race in a mud because I am light-loving in real life and a total hippie so in some other relm I might be opposite. Psychologists call it the shadow side. The one we don't reveal. But if I get to be the dark side I get to unleash my frustrations at the people I am pissed at, or a boss (though I have none at the moment). At any rate, should go for now. The time delay sounds like it'd be frustrating to me, I tend to be rather impatient. Even with the truck tickets in Jim's game..its like (how long do I have to wait? though it's only 30 secs or so. ROFLOL Patience is a virtue I just haven't learne yet. Will add that to my self-improvement list. *beams* Maybe make more accidents occur with bad weather? Like andepending on fog, rain, snow, sleet or blizard you can have a larger probability of getting into a wreck? I've heard people say that's part of why they like races is the accidents. Me I think it's morbid and I don't watch nascar..but I do computer games that are race related. I thought of something (scary huh? Hi Tom. Have never played the game. What is it like? I never got to hear your improved trailer is it still there? For me side-scrolling helps like in tarzan jr. That's the only audio arcade game I've really played besides grizzzly gultch and chillingham.At any rate I guess the room limitation would probably be best so you don't cheat on the game completely. Or..here's a thought. After you beat it once the review feature for hte whole game is unlocked? Or something similar? It's always good to have some kinda reward or insentive, like bonus rounds in the horse racing game etc. Well, I hope this helps. [Audyssey] top speed's got me lost
OK that made sense. I downloaded all these cars and tracks...and am unable to find them. They're in my tracks and vehicles folder but they don't show up in the game. Not in the single race or over the internet. I have been given them by Joseph Weckland and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I went to the website and looked and I am so utterly frustrated. I am holding back a string of cussing for I feel like banging my head repeatedly against a wall. Someone help? I just got msn messenger. Hey. I've played kingdom of loathing and also love it. The frames make it a bit hard to understand at first, but the game rocks. It's weird though but what wrong with weird? I love English and words in general. Sometimes, though, my e-mails don't reflect that. For some reason I seem to get lax when it comes to e-mails and proper english/grammar but I'm usually a freak aobut it. SEE My english is autrocious! LOL At any rate, words are powerful and said the right way can be persuasive. I agree with you whole-heartedly Tom. Putting a positive spin on something has a much more likely chance of succeeding. Sorry I haven't been contributing much but haven't felt all that whippy...in much better mood though so back on the list and back playing games. I love STFC and play it 'til my 20 turns run out. I wish I could play the full version but will patiently wait. I love all ofJim Kitchen's games and used to play trucker late into the night. Never figured out how to beat starmule though. Love playing monopoly with my friends. The extras are cool.I've played the Tarzan Jr. demo a ton and hope to register it soon. Also like Dark Destroyer, Duck Blaster, tourniment and sryth. Sryth I seem to be quite addicted too at the moment. Last Castle I've almost beat but can't kill the king. Used to play grizzly gultch but lost the cd so there goes that game...but it provided hours of entertainment. Lastly, allinplay gives me tons of joy. I wish more games had interactive ability where you can chat over the net and make new friends while you play. Wouldn't scrabble be great like that? I posted it earlier but it's a browser-based game where you get to manage a rock band, do gigs, record cd's, get on record labels and compete against other players.
