TOM: thanks for the reply, i checked with the auto stores you suggested:
pep boys ; 195.00
napa; (extra) 220.00
autozone; 225.00
they did not seem to offer any choices on a 3-or 4- core- it was just one choice (and it did not say in their books what it was). Would there be that big of a diffrence
i have one, but once again its in
Italy.
sorry

I got
mine for $165. It's a new 4 core in the factory box. I am sure you'd have to pay
shipping in addition, but you will be getting the right thing. This guy has been
working with our club members to start specializing in Chevelle Radiators. Mine
is NOT factory original for show. There is

Donnie,
If
you're looking for an easy radio only or radio/cassette replacement, there are a
lot out there that fit the factory bezel and don't look too out of place and
just about all Chevelle parts suppliers carry them - the "Custom Autosound" make
comes to mind but I'm
Sorry I missed you yesterday,Dan. Walking or more
accurately, dodging the mud makes for a tiring day. By the time we left at 2pm,I
was worn out. Bought aspiffy oval billet air cleaner for my 69 that
matches the valve covers already mounted. I saw those cool electric scooters and

Harkem,
I have a used 4 core from my '68, it was for
an automatic. It has brass plugs for the holes, I was using a separate
trans cooler, not running it through the radiator. Was going to take it to
the next swapmeet. Would like to get $65 plus actual shipping costs.
It is in very good
Dan,
Can you trim the inner fender lip? When I trimmed my Elky, I gained
about 3/4" more room.

its not really the lip that its hitting...its the
wheel well...
the panhard bar is causing all my problems..it
shoves the axle sideways when the suspension moves up and down...

wanted some confirmation from those who have done this

hello king Richard's, i still need the hinges, i was not sure which year i needed i was going to buy new after market ones, i have had good luck on the last set i bought, i have the hood near striped and i got a nice hood for the money,, very fixable, and no hell damage which i have seen in the
I ran into our ol'buddy Brad at the swap
meet,James. He said he has a nice 69 SS hood for $250.
As for me,I'm waiting to see the new Goodmark cowl
hood for 68-69's. If not that,a Glastek hood might work.

That's strange. I always thought a panhard bar was supposed to limit
lateral movement, not create it. Is it a stock component? If not, is
there a chanceone or both pivot points are in the wrong spot?

no, its all stock.. the problem is that it moves in
an arc... not straight up and down. X- frame cars have a weird axle setup, 2
lower arms, 1 upper, and the panhard bar...
I'm looking into replacing the panhard with a Watts
linkage...that should solve my problem, plus it will look cool...
I accidentally deleted this. Can anyone resend the info to me?John

Gents,
I have a
club member that's looking for a 67 SS.
He has
one that the body is in bad shape on, and has to figure out what to do with that
now that he has decided not to try to save it. Maybe he could use just a good
shell if one is available?
He's
willing to pay up to 10 grand
Didn't see anyone get back to you on this so I'll give it a shot.
Easiest way is relative of course, but I used a Summit Ford-type
solenoid and it makes it a snap to connect a bump switch to. No more
trying to clamp the GM solenoid behind the headers.
See
Donnie, take a look at this site. I don't know
anyone who had this done but I'm thinking of doing it to my '66
radio.
