Bill,
Thanks for reporting the problem, it was a bug and it happened in my last
round of clean-up on the CAT code a few days ago. I forgot to account for
non-Flex modes in the Kenwood transceiver status command IF;. I have a
potential fix for the problem and am waiting for response from other
Hi all,
Someone once said every single person with two hands and two eyes wants a
different GUI. Seems to me, using vCom one can build any GUI wanted or
use any existing GUI, minimize PowerSDR and get on with (ham) life.

I agree.
While I am not familiar (yet) with the DXLab suite, I would imagine that
it probably doesn't support the panadaptor, probably the most valuable
feature (to me) in day to day operation.
As you note, however, one size does NOT fit all!
Conceptually, a separate path for the panadaptor

Right. The way I understand it, this is what's been discussed for years
now as PowerSDR V2.0 and is what Bob N4HY was talking about.

I managed to work the 3B7C on 30 meter rtty.
Using the Panadaptor to spot 'holes' in the pile.
Found one minor issue that needs addressing.
The PanCenter slider needs Up Dn arrows.
On each end. I'm too old to carefully control that position button.
Either moves too far or not far

I wrote recently about my trouble with a truncating dit when using my setup w/
the latest SVN's.
Was using the keying directly in the SDR and USB/serial adapter.
I switched to keying via the com port and the keying is now 100%.
Tnx to all the pointers that I got.

We've observed the same thing on our Vista machine. It is a crash but
without any obvious reason. We haven't yet identified the cause but we are
aware of this anomaly.

Glad to hear it. CW keying is still something that the Flexonians need to
work on.
I'm confident they will get it...

Hi, can anyone help me with what this would mean? Phase noise does not
fall off at 6 dB per octave as expected. Flex believes the present
phase noise limitations are caused by A/D clock jitter.
Is it a big deal? Still doing my homework. Thanks, Mike

I don't think we are the only ones that lost VAC capability.
But I do think there are a very small number of digital contester/dxers
(relatively speaking) using the SVN's.
When in a contest, I prefer to use the rock solid v1.10.2
Same for DXing.
I just use the SVN's for 'learning' realy.
