I just realized that Flex made the same mistake with the 6700 that they
made with the 5000: they put the mic connector, phone jack, and power
switch on the back of the radio. sigh

Rather than continue enhance PSDR I rather see a new middle layer be written
for the Flex- series radios that can take adavantage of the new
presentation layer that SmartSDR brings to the table. That really is the only
way that the true HW capabilities of the 5K can be exploited..

Nobody has yet pointed out that the OLD Flex SDR1000A is still a champ
and is still supported in every way! Mine works great, running PowerSDR
2.3.5, with all of the whistles and bells. It has a dated serial showing
that it was made in the 19th week of 2006. I see much the same questions
