As far as I know, Jaws cannot be used in Safe Mode, not because of the sound drivers not loading, but the video drivers not loading. Hate to say this on this list, and I'm sorry Dave and Rick, but only NVDA and Narrator can be used in Safe Mode with the available registry tweak. Sorry.
