You can enforce the same caps on LinuxONE engines that you can on z System IFLs. To elaborate on that suggestion (which I like), you can also define a 5th LPAR if you wish that's outside the LPAR group. Allocate a bit of memory to that 5th LPAR, and use the 5th LPAR as a z/VM and/or Linux testbed
