After having a working rh5.2 with masq and a newly proper internal set of addresses, it now does not. I tested with PORT ftp, telnet, HTTP from different machines and it worked when I tested it. Now it does not and I am sure I have not changed anything. I've tried rebooting, going back to

From the masquerading machine itself, all services work with any IP address -- the problem is from the internal machine (192.168.1.2) through masquerading (with TCP only? ICMP (ping, traceroute) works to any IP address). So the MASQ Linux box works fine but ALL Masqed machines cannot get out

Masqed machines: can ping, traceroute anywhere. can telnet, www, ftp, etc. within ISP's network. cannot telnet, www, ftp, etc. anywhere else on the Internet. Is the the default gateway on the MASQ'ed machines set to point to the Linux box? --David
