If I'm not mistaken, there are some routers in the Ascend Pipeline
series that can handle multiple BRI's. I saw some for sale on Ebay for
cheap ($300 or so).

After having a working rh5.2 with masq and a newly proper internal set of

different machines and it worked when I tested it. Now it does not and I
am sure I have not changed anything. I've tried rebooting, going back to
Hi,
I am hoping that someone can help me out on what I might do in order to
fix this situation.
I have a firewall with 3 NIC's in it.
Eth0 - Is a high speed (dhcp based) cable modem connection (24.x.x.x)
Eth1 - ISDN Link (139.143.42.x)
Eth2 - Internal Lan (10.x.x.x)
Eth0 is my default gateway

I have my gateway setup masquerading 5 windows PCs. I have tested http,
ftp, realaudio and icq. Having trouble using netmeeting. I have used
ifautofw to fw the necessary ports in the rc.local file as in

Hi there,
I´m using SuSE Linux 5.3 with a 2.0.35 Kernel and since a few days I have
this msg in my syslog:

Does someone has a hint for me? I had me Linux Box up and running a few

I haven't been able to get IP masquerading to work with one

Are your IP addresses on your local LAN of the form 192.168.0.xxx? If
they are something else, like 192.168.1.xxx, you need to change the
above accordingly.
no matter what i do
From the
masquerading machine itself, all services work with any IP address --
the problem is from the internal machine (192.168.1.2) through
masquerading (with TCP only? ICMP (ping, traceroute) works to any IP
address).
So the MASQ Linux box works fine but ALL Masqed machines cannot
get out

So the MASQ Linux box works fine but ALL
Masqed machines:
can ping, traceroute anywhere.
can telnet, www, ftp, etc. within ISP's network.
cannot telnet, www, ftp, etc. anywhere else on the Internet.
Is the the default gateway on the MASQ'ed machines set to
point to the Linux box?
