When I started matting photos, it was just to put a bunch in a box at a
friend's store, so they were mostly selected fro
I've never had a good handle on what folks want either. "it'll look good over
the couch" is something that does not resonate with me. So when I had the
opportunity to participate in a print sale, I picked photos that I liked and
put them up for sale. My tastes are often considered a bit odd, but
I'm tempted to make some likely picks -- lots of appealing stuff, but
as others have said, who knows what will go?
But I'm a gambler - my instant impression is the desert scene with the
deadwood in the foreground goes first... and the moth has no shot at all..,

decided I could bear the weight. anticpated shooting some stuff near
where we met but while I grabbed a few shots near there, this was when

That's a great set of strong and interesting images. You never know what
will pique someone's interest. Half of the fun is seeing people's
reactions and talking with them.
