Making the best of the equipment you has got is okay, but this has nothing to do with the realisation that digital hardware and software needs to become better and additional equipment, e.g. tube pre-amps will be a help, just doing digital recordings, without any analogue equipment won't sound good. By the way, from expensive to less expensive, I would exchange my Behringer against a - Neve - Soundcraft - Mackie with the same functions like my Behringer has got, if someone would like to have a Behringer instead ;).
