I'm not informed on the whole problem so you may have already tried this but
have your tried going to the device manager. This allows you to disable any new
hardware that you have added to see if that could be the reason for the problem
your having. Or you could go to system information and see how the hardware
status is and 9 of 10 times this helps solve the problem.
