I have had Windows 7 Home addition 64 bit now, for several months and my HP
3520 printer has worked fine. The other day, the printer on-off button light
started flashing. A few odd things are happening.
The only way I can turn the printer off, is to unplug its power cord and plug
it back in again. Then I can turn the printer off with the button.
If I select a photo to print from anywhere, the printer will not kick in when
I hit Print. The screen just goes back to the photo I chose. Here is the weird
part. If I shut down completely after hitting Print and reboot from scratch, or
just restart the computer, the printer starts on its own and prints the photo.
Not sure I like taking the long way around the barn, just to print something.
Is something unchecked, somewhere in the system ?? I don`t think it is the
printer, because I plugged in an Hp 3320 that I have the same flashing start
button. I am not much on computer terms, but if you give me a land buoy or two,
I can find my way around. Right now, I am as lost as a ball in high weeds.
