Swipe machines work on a presumption that the card holder him/herself is
swiping the card. Whereas biometric machines can authenticate the actual
employee. In any event we need to figure out accessible biometric
authentication solutions.

process. If RBI can adopt identity card swipe then other banks and
government departments should have any issue. I believe all Indian IT
companies are having card swipe process for attendance. Respective
