Dear All,
At my university (Central University of Tamil Nadu), we have biometric
attendance through face recognition. We just have to show our face to
the machine. It is common for even to the sighted faculty members. It
is quite accessible. It doesn’t take much time. Within a few seconds,
the machine recognizes the face. However, the visually impaired
faculty members have also been given access card to swipe it on the
screen just in-case the face is not recognized. In my opinion,
biometric attendance through face recognition is more accessible for
visually impaired people.
