I wanted to share my thoughts as I’m also visually impaired and understand firsthand how difficult it is to get health insurance. In many cases, insurers are hesitant or outright unwilling to offer policies to visually impaired people, which makes the process frustrating and exhausting.
Recently, I’ve started working with a few insurers to help members of our community get health insurance and better understand what options are realistically available. I’m trying to bridge this gap as someone who has faced the same challenges.

My policy explicitly mentions that I am visually impaired, and I have provided my disability certificate as documentation. Because this is disclosed, blindness should not be a basis for claim rejection. In my experience, I believe it is a good brand to consider. Best regards, Nitinbhai Patel
This is even my concern also please let me know about health insurance for people with visual impairment not with policybazaar or other third party but any private good insurance company who has good claim results
My curiosity is, are you able to claim it? Given no Indian citizenship? Because OCI obviously has restrictions so I wouldn’t even think about insurance in India.
