I wanted to clarify a few points regarding Niva Bupa based
on my experience. According to my agent, the only standard
exclusion is dental-related issues, unless they are caused
by an accidental injury. Most companies follow this same
policy for dental care. I am not aware of any specific
exclusions for eye-related issues, but I will confirm this
tomorrow.
Otherwise, Jyoti is correct—the policy covers everything
from the start. They also provide one free full-body
checkup every year. In my case, I disclosed my diabetes,
and it was covered after the initial 30-day waiting period.
I have already utilized the free health checkup, which is
valued at approximately ₹3,000. Additionally, I received a
30% discount by paying a three-year premium upfront.
