why handicapped quota not provided in sleeper coaches. if we got a reservation in disability coach, would you get pantry services their? and if any disabled person board with general ticket, would we let him get out?
this matter should be seriously taken to railway authority.

Hi,
Sharing one similar incident happened with me in end of September,
last year when I was coming back from Siliguri to Kolkata.
It was very first time that I had got reservation in coach for
Disabled. TT and guard checked my tickets along with disability
certificate like I had committed a sin traveling in the coach.
During journey, whole night TT and Guard boarded unauthorised
passengers in the coach without tickets and charging Rs. hundred to
two hundred according to distance of destined station.
Due to the mess, I was not able to sleep properly and passengers were
sitting on my birth with full authority. Even I was scared for my
luggage because in that I had kept all of my original certificates.
Many passengers were quarrelling with Guard like co-passengers of any
local bus or general compartment of Railway.
When the situation got worst, and it was around two hours left to
reach Kolkata, I called my family and told them to come on station
with our lawyer so that I can register complain against the Guard and
TT.
The conversation was heard by Guard and he got scared and started
apologizing for the inconvenience. Here especially I would like to
mention that in the particular coach one disabled passenger from
Railway itself was traveling.
Finally, I reached to Shyaldah station with the Guard’s promise that
he would never repeat such misconduct.

Yes, You can lodge the serious complain in Consumer court.
I find, specially since last year, HP Quota is being giving in Handicapped
Coach which is normally used as General Coach for Disabled.

Rakesh.

Hello all,
I was given reservation for the disability coach on 9 may ,
and the journey was from 9.20 p m onwards. From the station we got
information thet the disability coach was in front but on arrival of train

it is located at the back side .We reported to the guard and entered into
it and all bearths were occupied by the public without disability In the
next station I complained to the guard regarding this and he is not
willing to vaccate them and moreover the partition between the general
compartment and D C is not in a position to get locked so the passengers
from general compartment can easily enter into the d coach . Instead of
taking action the guard started threatening us and also there is abuse
from the public We asked the railway complaint register and the guard is
not willing to give it. At 2 a m the guard changed and that person with a

railway police came there and after a lot of struggle the other passengers

were vaccated and the bearth was allotted to us
I am going to register a complaint to the sub division officer
.I want to know whether we can go to consumer court with the complaint
             with regards-------Jalaja?
